I remember the days that I would sit and watch my mom, Wilma Gross take basic ingredients and turn it into a meal for a family of six. She was an amazing cook. Everyone liked coming to our house for dinner.  On Sunday she would prepare a big meal. Then on Monday she take the leftovers and magically turn them into a different meal.

Before I left home December 1986, I got out the typewriter and began typing recipe after recipe, I wasn't going to leave home without them. I couldn't wait to cook for Lenny.
